Eco-Friendly Tips for World Environment Day
Posted on June 5th, 2017
Each year on June 5th, the United Nations encourages environmental awareness and action for the protection of our environment. What are you doing to protect the environment today? Here are just a few of the things that you can do to help.
How to Be Eco-Friendly Today:
- Update Your Plumbing Fixtures – How old are the plumbing fixtures in your home? By swapping out your old shower head or kitchen faucet for a new, low-flow version, you can save water at home.
- Install a Tankless Water Heater – Tankless water heaters are more eco-friendly than the traditional alternative. Because there is no storage tank, tankless water heaters aren’t constantly working to keep water warm. Instead, the water is only heated as it is needed, leaving you with a lower energy bill.
- Have Your HVAC System Inspected – You should have your HVAC system inspected at the start of the summer season. This will help ensure that your air conditioning system is working smoothly and you can help prevent future breakdowns.
