Is Your Bathroom Ready for the Holidays?
Posted on December 13th, 2018
Known to be one of the simpler rooms in the house to clean, your bathroom can seem a tad overwhelming when loved ones are staying over. Although there isn’t a need to start redecorating the most used room in your home, there are a few quick tricks to make it look like new. If you’re afraid that you’ll run out of time, then just follow these steps to get the job done:
Pack Away Clutter
Granted, it might seem okay to leave your hairbrushes and deodorant on the counter when running to work — but if guests are staying over your home, then it might be a turn-off. If you’re looking for a quick fix, then we suggest tossing everything in the cabinet or under the vanity sink.
However, if you’re looking to take it up a notch, then we highly recommend organizing your essentials in a plastic bin, to not only help clean the counter but to keep you organized in the weeks to come!
Wash the Shower Curtain
If you’ve opted for a bathroom without a glass shower door (or didn’t have a choice), then it’s essential to clean your shower curtain — and it’s much simpler than you think! Believe it or not, you’ll want to take the linen off of the beam, followed by tossing it in with the washing machine.
Now, if your shower liner has seen better days, then it’s best to replace it with one from the local dollar store (you’d be amazed at what you can find there)! If you want to really go over the top, then you can find new fasteners to really upgrade the look and feel of your shower curtain!
Do you know if your guests would instead wash their hands with liquid soap or a standard bar? If you’re not sure, then it would be best to provide them with the option. This will not only make your guests feel more at home, but they’ll find comfort knowing that you’re here to make them feel as comfortable as possible!
